ON THE SUBJECT SOULMATES
Dr. Carolyn Miller (author of "Soulmates"), a repost from Relationships and Life ReInvention Coaching:
People readily agree that their relationships are more important than their careers.
Yet we spend at least 17 years preparing for our careers... and zero training on "growing relationship skills for lasting love."
Many people even expect Real Love to "just happen," even when their results say otherwise.
Jim Rohn said it best:
"If you keep doing what you've always done.
You'll always get what you already have."
Aileen Santos (Relationships and Life ReInvention Coaching), repost:
(Many people) mistake "chemistry" for a soul mate connection,
when in fact they may have very little in common
with the person they feel instantly attracted to.
A (real) soul mate relationship is characterized by things like
a shared life path, a sense of comfort & ease,
and a genuine liking of each other.
While you may experience times of excitement & lust with your soul mate,
(your) RELATIONSHIP is NOT DEFINED by these moments.
I think this is worth a thought or two, I really do.
