STOP!!
Stop! How often do you think about how fortunate you are? Honestly, how often do you stop and imagine yourself in other, less fortunate people´s shoes? Have you ever imagined what life might be like for that person walking by outside, as you´re sitting in that coffee shop having a nice hot cup of coffee, waiting for your friend to arrive? That woman just walking by for example, maybe she´s got a life much like your own ....
OR maybe she has been unemployed for such a long time that she finds it too hard to believe in herself and the "thousand possibilities and positive challenges" life should bring and that she desperately has been waiting for, for ages, or maybe she´s on her way to the unemployment office, ashamed even for the situation she´s in, feeling like an outsider, trying to hide the state of things to everyone she knows. Or maybe she has a husband who is unemployed and depressed, maybe she works three shifts as she has got many mouths to feed.....
She might also feel lost and lonely, no friends, no family and nobody to love, who would love her in return. Or maybe she just got the news that she is very seriously ill, that it could be fatal, or that she has got just a short time to live....she might be thinking of her small children at home, how she will ever be able to leave them and what she should tell them and when, and how she ever will be able to live through something that ends in the inevitable....
Or maybe her child was in an accident and everything that was normal just one hour ago will never ever be that again ... in fact ... it will never happen again...
Or maybe she lost a child today ... or yesterday..... just like that ... SNAP!

Infantile
embarrasingly plump
or exaggeratedly polite
Silent
you let your better half speak
as you nod and smile
and make some sounds
of exclamation
A cross to bear
infinitly infantile
Facebook is a Social Media - so I have a Question
I´ve been on Facebook for a good five years now and remember the excitement of the early days: Quizzes were taken, comments were given, gifts were frequently given and recieved and games were played. In the course of time I and many of my facebook friends have lost interest in much of that, but at least personally, the status updates and photos shared are much appreciated.
I can´t do anything about the fact though that there are one kind of updates that I find somewhat irritating. Yes, I´m sorry but I do! Lovers and couples stating how much they love their partner, upon which the partner comments how much she/he loves him/her. They´re in the same house at that very moment, probably even sitting next to each other in the same room. What´s the point of these updates?
What about the rest of us on facebook that first of all think we KNOW they love each other without them stating it over and over again, and would like them to write something of interest for that forum of people called "facebook-friends"?
Why not keep facebook as a forum for sharing details from your life, why not inspire, share thoughts you have, things you wonder about, funny thoughts, witty thoughts, nonsense thoughts ...anything... Just don´t make it impossible for facebook-friends to comment! As an outsider, you can´t comment on people´s love declarations. What would you say? "Well done you two! "...?? It is private and it excludes other people, in fact if an outsider tries to comment, it will inevitably come out either ironic or sarcastic!
What I want to say is this: There are different forums for different contents in our Social Media and Cyber Contact Age!
Thank you for reading! :)

The Deepest Sorrow
Souls mate
flowing together
colours
of the sparkling rainbow
blinding everyone
dazzling in its beauty
Holding hands
arms around
waist
fingers running through hair
carressing cheek
chin and lips
Bodies interlaced
fluids of life
unite
like oil and water
pushing away from
one another
A dark hole
the deepest sorrow
A grave
they never visit
There are no flowers
there is no stone
nothing to remember
Souls mate
flowing together
colours
of the sparkling rainbow
blinding everyone
dazzling in its beauty
Holding hands
arms around
waist
fingers running through hair
carressing cheek
chin and lips
Bodies interlaced
fluids of life
unite
like oil and water
pushing away from
one another
A dark hole
the deepest sorrow
A grave
they never visit
There are no flowers
there is no stone
nothing to remember

It is
It is
to connect
by mind and soul
It is
to feel
the situation of things
It is
to give
whatever is needed
It is
to love

Poems of Illusion
Love was real
It filled your tummy
with butterflies
made your heart nervous
or skip a beat
or sing with joy
or with excitement
Sparkling eyes
smile ever present
upon your lips
Until another day
of one thing
leading to another
all that was left was
your poems
of illusion
Love was real
It filled your tummy
with butterflies
made your heart nervous
or skip a beat
or sing with joy
or with excitement
Sparkling eyes
smile ever present
upon your lips
Until another day
of one thing
leading to another
all that was left was
your poems
of illusion
